Student Success Story – Sarah Grossman

Sarah is a Senior BME and EE double major and was hired by Milwaukee Tool as a Summer 2021 EE intern.

What did you work on this summer?  I’ve been working on multiple projects throughout the last few weeks including a project involving novel sensors for collecting real time data about the tool’s usage and gathering application data to support motor control development. These have involved lots of time in the lab utilizing the soldering and circuitry skills that MSOE has taught me, as well as being able to learn how to use multiple Milwaukee Tool products and equipment to collect and analyze data.

What’s the best thing about your job?  The best thing about interning at Milwaukee Tool has been the amount of teamwork and collaboration that is involved in each project. I’ve learned more than I thought imaginable in only a few short months doing real world, hands-on work.

What’s great about your company?  Milwaukee Tool is constantly working to provide the best product and does it in a very collaborative and fun work environment.

Did the Career Connections Center help you with your internship search?  I felt really ready and confident applying and interviewing for this job because of the help Career Services gave me with my resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, and interview skills.
